About Cass
Cass Costa is a freelance editor and writer. She’s had the privilege of working with many new, up-and-coming authors and is thrilled to expand her experience in publishing.
When writing, she seeks to explore reality through the absurd, with a deep interest in horror, surrealism, and the grotesque. Her works are women-centric, with witches, mothers, spirits, and sentient houses.
She delightfully defended her thesis “Milk & Magic and Other Stories” in 2019 and received an MFA in Creative Writing at OSU. She lives where she can swim in wonderfully cool waters on an island in the Atlantic and is excited to share her craft with you.
Cass holds an MFA in Creative Writing from OSU-Cascades (2019) and a BFA in English Literature with Secondary Teaching Licensure from Harding University (2014).
Some of her favorite books include:
The Haunting of Hill House
Magic for Beginners
Her Body and Other Parties
The Witch's Daughter
Once and Future Witches
A Disobedient Daughter
The Outlander Series
Hidden Pictures
The Death of Jane Lawrence
